In 2017 the Hotel Royal building was purchased by Erin Claussen. A heritage management consultant by trade, Erin settled in Toledo in 2015 and fell in love with all of the city’s great architecture — and this building in particular. She soon founded Toledo Revival as the face of her consulting and real estate (re)development business and set to work on a plan to breathe life back into Hotel Royal. It’s taken a little time to restore the glories of Hotel Royal, and a lot of perseverance. But for Erin, dreams do come true: the historic hotel will soon again give rest to adventurers from all around.
